Interior... as such

So the plan for the interior is white, I like white.

Everything that can be removed from the interior has been and it's all in various states of refinish, first was the wheel, which needed a lot of work

Apparently this was the last pic I took between sandblasting it and priming it

I never finish painted it because it's developed more hairline cracks that I can't seem to get away from and I won't paint it before it's perfect.
Some more of the pieces I refnished

After this basecoat everything here was clearcoated, except the e brake handle which got a coat of pearl before sanding off the lettering and clearing it also.

Sparks fly

She's on the juice

I also went ahead and replaced a few more items

Never finished the floor pans though :(

Clean your' plate

Yay Ebay! Yay YOM plates! Boo rust!

A little etch primer, a little fill primer, and a little DBC makes it all better

Painting in darkness

I'm not entirely sure what was up with my camera this day, but I apologize in advance

First layer of primer (thick layer)

Second layer, and lots of sanding

Also did some work trying to get my fusebox/lightswitch sorted:

but ended up with a new one instead

Cutting it down

Out with the old

The rear was a little trickier, the leaves are 2" wide, but all the block kits on the market seem to be 2.5"...

...so I made my own

Had to have U bolts made too:

Tighty Whities

The wheels just don't look right, and it's a pain these days to find tires to fit 13" wheels, so I sourced a set of Mustang wheels from a buddy of mine, stripped them down and gave them a fresh coat of black POR15, and wrapped them up with some skinny whites (tighty whities)

Big box o' goodies

...and a little character

This was the first time that I had ever expirimented with striping, between then and now there have been a good number of revisions

In the beginning

This is where she started. Good old Craigslist.

These are the original pics from the ad that I responded to. She ran, but not happily. That little white can on top of the engine is the gas tank.

Back home:

sittin pretty

and this is the plan
